Coordination and continuous communication with key project stakeholders help ensure an efficient schedule that will meet our client’s needs. First, we address any environmental concerns at the beginning of each project. After that, M² explores numerous layouts and options during the site design and land development process to create the most efficient and cost-effective design plans. We also incorporate the protection of critical site design and land development features, such as environmentally or ecologically sensitive areas, into each and every project design. This helps ensure the perpetual existence of such important ecologically-sensitive land. M² also continually seeks creative, innovative solutions to generate a superior design for every project. To maintain project timelines, M² initiates permit coordination as early as possible. A pre-application meeting with appropriate regulatory agencies such as DNR (Department of Natural Resources), local municipalities, US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), and/or Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) ensures that all regulatory requirements are incorporated into the conceptual planning process. Final construction plans are generated in accordance with all state and local requirements. Finally, we follow the project through construction to ensure our site design standards are maintained in the field.
